Art Direction
Taste is the difference between a brand that looks assembled and one that looks inevitable. Art direction is where we hold that line.
Anyone can follow the guidelines. Art direction is the judgment on top of them, the call on what feels right and what feels off, made a thousand small times across everything a brand puts out. It's the reason strong work hangs together and forgettable work just sits there, technically correct and completely flat.
A brand isn't made in one big decision. It's made in the crop, the pairing, the shot you keep and the three you kill. We make those calls with a point of view, so every piece feels chosen instead of defaulted into.
Photographers, illustrators, printers, and a dozen other hands touch a brand. Someone has to keep them all pointed the same direction. We set the standard and hold everyone to it, so the work stays consistent no matter how many people it passes through.
The hardest part of the job is knowing when to stop. We've done this enough to feel the difference between good and almost, and we don't ship almost. That instinct is the whole thing you're actually hiring.
